Rapper Medikal claimed he spent more than GH¢30,000 on a fan, Frank Arhin, who got injured at his Sowutuom concert late last year.
The 'Ayekoo' hitmaker's revelations come after Frank’s brother confronted his manager for abandoning his brother.
“I know Eric Arhin (victim’s brother) is watching this. You don’t have to spoil my name. I will never disrespect you because I paid every bill,” he said in a video posted on Instagram
Medikal stated that he did not pay the bill of Frank alone but of 10 others who were treated and discharged at the Rock Hospital in Official Town, Odorkor.
Frank Arhin, however, is still at the Korle Bu Teaching hospital and suffering from injuries that are affecting his movements.
He has also developed a huge sore on his buttocks and other parts of his body including his penis.
“I have been at Korle Bu Hospital for the past four months and I have no one to pay my bills,” he told Adom TV’s Sergio.
Frank’s bill is about GH¢4,600.
Medikal who said in his Instagram live that he paid about GH¢30,000 for Frank’s treatment showed fans some of the receipts.
“I have stopped posting money online. I want every fan to know I am not heartless. I can’t turn a blind eye.”
He disclosed that his mum had been the one to visit the hospital constantly for more than two months to check on Frank.
“I personally went to the hospital twice to make sure he is good and had a good conversation with him! I paid for every single bill at the hospital and still paying as at now!
“If you see anything on social media, it’s very false. My manager and Nana Kwame are going to sort out another bill,” he added.
