Controversial politician and business mogul Kennedy Agyapong has revealed why he entered the media business.
According to the soon-to-retire legislator, there is not much returns from the media, but he is in it to prove a point.
“I knew I was not going to make money,” he told JoyNews’ Mamavi Owusu-Aboagye, adding “I know where I make my monies from.”
Speaking in the exclusive interview, the Assin Central MP said his advent into the media business, stems from an altercation during an interview at Accra-based Peace FM.
He said he was on a show with NDC’s Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the current National Chairman of the biggest opposition party.
During the brawl, he was asked to apologise to Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo, Agyapong recalls.
He would, however, not budge and rather walked out of the studio, promising the production team of setting up his own media enterprise.
“So I was not doing it for money,” he told Mamavi, adding it was for posterity.
