President Akufo-Addo in his 10th address to the nation announced the reopening of schools for final year students at all levels from Monday, June 15, 2020.
Although the students have resumed, concerns have been raised by stakeholders about the safety of students as well as that of teaching and non-teaching staff.
Today on Beyond the Lockdown, JoyNews' Emefa Apawu will host the Deputy Education Minister, Dr. Yaw Adutwum to discuss measures taken to protect students and schools amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Also joining the discussion is Deputy General Secretary of the Ghana Medical Association Dr. Titus Beyou and President of the National Association of Graduate Teachers, Angel Carbonu.

Viewers can send in their questions for the Minister via the Whatsapp line 0244340437 and to all JoyNews’ social media platforms.
Beyond the Lockdown will come off at 7:30 pm on JoyNews TV. It will also be live on MyJoyOnline.com, Joy FM and all JoyNews’ social media handles.
