Today marks exactly two years since the passing away of former Vice-president, Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur.
Paa Kwesi was an academic, economist, politician and the Governor of the Bank of Ghana from 2009 to 2012.
He became more popular after he was chosen as Vice President under John Dramani Mahama who took over as President following the death of Atta Mills.

After being vetted by Parliament, he was sworn into office on August 6, 2012.
He was in worked assiduously while in office until his government was voted out in 2016.
In the early hours of Friday, June 28, 2018, there were reports that Mr. Amissah-Arthur had collapsed at the Air Force Gym and was rushed to the 37 Military Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
He died at age 67 and was married to Matilda Amissah-Arthur with two children.
The former politician and economist was a Christian and is known to worship at the Calvary Methodist Church at Adabraka in Accra.
Friday, July 27, a burial service was held in the auditorium of the AICC between 0900 hours and midday.
The funeral cortege was paraded through some principal streets of Accra after the burial service before his mortal remains were buried at the Military Cemetery, Burma Camp.
