The Ghana Health Service has confirmed 414 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the cumulative count to 24,248.
The active cases however, are about one sixth of the total number at 4,282.
Some 19,831 persons have been declared recovered while 135 have succumbed to the disease.
The Greater Accra Region still remains the epicenter of the pandemic in Ghana with 13,302.
The Ashanti and Western regions follow with 5,150 and 2,128 cases respectively, while Central Region follows with 1,110 cases.
The rest of the regional breakdown is as follows:
Eastern Region – 911; Volta Region – 387; Upper East Region – 282; Bono East Region – 201; Northern Region – 186; Western North Region – 173; Oti Region – 115; Bono Region – 107; Upper West Region – 70; Ahafo Region – 66; Savannah Region – 51; North East Region – 9.
