With less than five weeks to the December 7 elections, all the qualified presidential and parliamentary candidates have intensified their campaign.
But a pre-election survey by the Centre for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana) has revealed that the governing NPP enjoys a significant advantage over the opposition NDC when it comes to public confidence in the ability to deliver on campaign promises.
The findings place the NPP at a 15 percentage point over the NDC.
Today on the show, host, Samson Lardy Anyenini will interact with Dr. Kojo Pumpuni Asante who is the Director of Advocacy and Policy Engagement at CDD-Ghana and Mr. Daniel Armah Attoh who is the Research Manager at CDD-Ghana to break down the survey.
The team will then discuss recent clashes between supporters of the NPP and NDC at the Odododiodio Constituency during a health walk before moving to the 2021 first quarter budget presented by Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta to Parliament.
Also joining the show are Dr. Theo Acheampong, an Economist and Political Risk Analyst and Senior Fellow at Imani Ghana and Professor Godfred Bopkin who is an Economist and a Professor of Finance at the University of Ghana, Legon.
