President Akufo-Addo in his quest to form an all-inclusive government has named a person with a disability as one of his lieutenants in executing his mandate in his second term.
Joseph Makubu has been named the minister-designate for the Oti Region and when approved by Parliament will succeed his predecessor, Nana Kwasi Owusu-Yeboah.
According to sources, Mr Makubu is a farmer and also the current General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the region.
Together with other nominees, Mr Makubu is expected to appear before Parliament’s Appointment Committee for vetting and approval in coming days.
