The Black Satellites have sealed a place in the U-20 AFCON final after a 1-0 victory over The Gambia courtesy a first half free-kick from Percious Boah.
With about ten minutes to the half-time break, Ghana broke from a set piece just outside the Gambian penalty box.
Daniel Barnieh was brought down at the edge of the box and Boah stepped up curl the ball into the top corner.
The goal was Boah's third of the tournament sending him to the top of the scoring charts.
Before the Satellites took the lead, Boah and Fatawu Issahaku had tested the Gambian goalkeeper from individual set-piece early on, sending warnings to their opposition.
The second half was all about Gambia as they chased after the equaliser. The young Scorpions created a number of chances but the Black Satellites were able to hold on for the result.
Ghana will play in the final for the first time since 2013.
The three time winners will have the opportunity to clinch the title for the first time since 2009 on Saturday.
Their opponents with be decided on Monday evening as Tunisia take on Uganda.
