Police in Akyem Oda have re-arrested four suspects who broke jail on Sunday at Oda.
The four had absconded from police custody when a police officer on duty opened the cell to give the inmates water and toothpaste.
One of the inmates allegedly pushed down the police officer paving way for the suspects to flee.
District Police Commander, Supt Daniel Amoako explained that the inmates were 19 in all but four fled after overpowering the officer.
He said the four young men after breaking out of the cell ran into bushes far from the police station and hid in different locations.
The police boss suggested that the court remands them into prison custody in order to avoid another possible jailbreak.
The captured escapees will be arraigned before court on Tuesday, May 25.
