The Ministry of Roads and Highways has announced that parts of the N1 Highway will experience roadblocks on Wednesday, June 23, and Thursday, June 24.
In a statement issued by the Ministry’s Acting Chief, A. B. K. Nuhu, he stated that the N1 Highway link at Fiesta Hotel Junction will be blocked from 11 am to 5 pm on both days.

According to him, the traffic disruption is to enable the Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) to undertake the final stringing works that involve the removal of a section of the existing line which traverses the aforementioned area.
“Motorists are kindly advised to follow the traffic diversion signs to be placed at the various sections on the NI. We sincerely apologise for any inconveniences,” part of the statement read.
