Milovan Rajevac has levelled praise on his Black Stars players crediting their attitude against Zimbabwe on Saturday.
Goals from Mohammed Kudus, Thomas Partey and Dede Ayew grabbed the Black Stars a 3-1 win over Zimbabwe at the Cape Coast Stadium.
The Black Stars took the lead as early in the 5th minute of the game but Zimbabwe captain, Knowledge Musona, converted from the penalty spot to draw the Warriors level.
A Partey low drive in the 66th minute saw the Black Stars take the lead after sustained pressure from their Southern Africa counterparts. Later, captain, Dede Ayew scored from a header to secure the win for the Black Stars.
Milo expressed happiness over his team's attitude.
"I will like to congratulate all of you for yesterday's victory. I am proud of you, you are a real team. When we were in a problem during the match, you showed that you can show your real faith and we were able to win this match despite all difficulties.
"This victory is very important for us, for our confidence so we will do our best to improve, and to prepare for the next match," the Black Stars coach said.
He also charged the team not to lose their focus, and hang on to their fighting spirit, indicating that the team's chances of qualifying for the World Cup are dependent on them.
"Our focus is on the next match, as you all could see, the match lasts until the end whistle. So it was not easy but you were able to come on top and bring happiness to everybody.
So we should keep up with this, the same rhythm, we have to give our best. Everything is in our hands."
The Black Stars will play Zimbabwe at the Zimbabwe National Sports Stadium, with a chance to go top of Group G with a win.
