Rennes forward Kamaldeen Sulemana has been voted as Ligue 1 young player of the month for October after his outstanding performances.

The Ghanaian enjoyed the month of October, scoring one goal and providing one assist in four games.

Sulemana tormented defences as he completed 17 dribbles, made 9 key passes and created 2 big chances in the month of October.

The Ghanaian beat competition from Mohammed-Ali Cho who plays for Angers and Evann Guessand who plays for OGC Nice.

Sulemana joined Rennes from Nordsjaelland in the summer and has made 12 Ligue 1 appearances so far, scoring 4 goals.

Rennes currently sit fifth in Ligue 1 and are just three points from a Champions League qualification slot.
