Ghana coach Otto Addo is expected to release his squad in the coming days for the March international friendlies against Germany and Austria as part of preparations for the FIFA World Cup.
The Black Stars face Germany on March 27 in Stuttgart before facing Austria in Vienna three days later.
The number of players to be called up is yet to be disclosed.
However, Otto is expected to hand some call-ups to players who have to prove their worth for possible inclusion in the World Cup squad.
A few regulars such as Benjamin Asare, Gideon Mensah, Antoine Semenyo and Kamaldeen Sulemana are all expected to be invited.
A few others have been ruled out with injuries, including Mohammed Kudus, Mohammed Salisu, Abu Francis, and Ernest Nuamah.

One typical discussion Otto Addo has faced is whether or not to extend an invitation to Ghana’s most-capped player André Ayew, who has dominated conversations in recent weeks.
Ayew, who has not played for the senior national team for two years, has reignited his quest to be recalled after regularly featuring for club side NAC Breda in the Eredivisie.
The 36-year-old has made 10 appearances - including five starts - and scored one goal.
Prince Kwabena Adu, Kelvin Nkrumah of Medeama SC, Prince Osei Owusu of CF Montréal, and other fringe players could be invited.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars have been paired with England, Croatia, and Panama as they eye a spot in the knockout stages for the first time since the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
