The CEO of First Sky Group of Companies, Dr. Eric Seddy Kutortse, has said that Frerol Rural Bank is poised to ensure that market women have enough resources to enhance their businesses.
Dr. Eric Seddy Kutortse gave the assurance at the launch of the Ho branch of Frerol Rural Bank.
According to him, the aim of Frerol Rural Bank is to facilitate social interventions to help businesses in the Volta Region as well as other parts of the country.
Dr. Kutortse noted that the interest rate charged by Frerol Rural Bank is the lowest so far in the country, which according to him, is good for businesses especially, startups.
The Sky Group CEO urged young graduates who are into business to bring their business proposals to the Frerol Rural Bank to be aided by seasoned experts and board members to put their proposals into the right perspective. He added that with the right funding at the lowest interest rate, their businesses will grow.
"We are in to offer social interventions for market women and young graduates who want to go into businesses with the lowest interest rate," he said.
He encouraged residents to go into business to make them economically independent.
"I want to see a lot of businessmen and women coming up in the Volta Region, especially with help from Frerol Rural Bank," Dr. Eric Seddy Kutortse stressed.
The Board Chairman of the Frerol Rural Bank, Professor Richard Bani, reiterated the Bank's commitment to making sure that local businesses are supported to the level everyone can be proud of.
Professor Richard Bani said the establishment of Frerol Rural Bank was aimed at supporting the development and economic growth of communities.
"We already have the base in Ho and would like to improve on it to the benefit of all businesses in the entire Volta Region and Frerol Rural Bank is going to be the best in the country," Prof Bani said.
General Manager of Frerol Rural Bank, Mr. Mark Krah noted that the bank has 3 times the minimum requirement for rural bank startups in the country. "We have 3 times the required amount for a Rural Bank set up which is 2.9 million cedis," Mr. Krah said.
He urged business owners to come into partnership with the Bank for secure financial assistance.
Mr. Krah noted that the Bank offers several financial services including loans and wireless transfers.
Public Relations Officer of the Bank, Nii Lamkai Lawson said the bank has invested in Information Technology in order to, as much as possible, reduce human contact as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Frerol Rural Bank is a member of the First Sky Group of Companies. The Volta Serene Hotel based in Ho and Serene Insurance are two out of the many businesses under the umbrella of the First Sky Group of Companies.
