Lady Strikers, on Thursday, defeated Prisons Ladies at the Madina Astro Turf to book a spot at the finals of the maiden edition of the Women's Premier Super Cup.
The ‘Strikers’, who are unbeaten so far in the tournament scored four goals against their opponents to record a convincing victory and advance to the next stage of the tournament.
Martha Amissah scored the first goal after just four minutes before Catherine Arthur stepped up to convert a penalty and extend the league for Lady Strikers.
Lady Strikers’ brilliant first half was completed when Gifty Addae Boakye finished off from close range to make it 3-0 heading into the break.
Sandra Narh came off the bench to score the fourth goal of the game.
Earlier in the day, Hasaacas Ladies also beat Ampem Darkoa Ladies with a 3-0 scoreline, recording what was their third win over the Nananom Ladies in less than a year.
Success Ameyaa scored a brace while Veronica Appiah also netted a goal to ensure a spot for Yussif Basigi’s side.
The result means the Hasmal Ladies will face Lady Strikers in the final of the competition while Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Prisons Ladies will go head-to-head in the third-place playoff.
Both games will take place at the Madina Astro Turf on Sunday at 6pm and 3pm respectively.
