Data Link Institute of Business and Technology (DLIBT) on Thursday, November 25, 2021, inaugurated its new Governing Council.
The council is now being chaired by Mrs Alice Sena Lamptey who brings on board over thirty years of varied expertise and specific experience in higher education management, business administration, training and consultancy in Ghana and abroad.
Each Council Member was carefully selected for their role and wealth of knowledge and expertise in education, academia, higher education management, industry and business, training and consultancy, entrepreneurship and law enforcement.
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, the mentoring Institution of DLIBT was duly represented by Professor Stephen Amisah, Department of Fisheries and Watershed Management, KNUST on the Council.
Others members include Professor Mrs Smile Dzisi, President of DLIBT, Dr Edwin Tetteh Ayernor, Director of Documentation and Information Management at the University for Professional Studies (UPSA), Reverend Dr Joyce Rosalind Aryee, Founder and Executive Director of Salt and Light Ministries; Dr George Akuffo Dampare, Inspector General of Police.
Also, Professor Richard Jinks Bani of the Department of Agricultural Engineering, University of Ghana Legon, Professor Edwin Clifford Mensah, Interim Associate Dean University of North Carolina, Pembroke, USA, Dr Suzy Puplampu, CEO and Fund Manager of Octane DC Limited, Nana Dr Michael Agyekum Addo, Business Executive / Management Consultant, Mrs Felicity Ankoma-Sey Senior Lecturer & Ag. Dean Regional Maritime University, and Dr Bernard Aryee, Business Development and Management Consultant.
Others include Professor Matthew Glover Addo, Associate Professor and Dean of Faculty of Biosciences, KNUST, Major General Dr Emmanuel Wekem Kotia, Major General of the Ghana Armed Forces, Mr King Kugbega, Convocation Rep, Mr Emmanuel Korley Alumni Rep., Mr Samuel Reynold Anyah, President, Students Representative Council (SRC-DLIBT).
Data Link Institute of Business and Technology (DLIBT) was established in 2006 as a Tertiary Institution and is affiliated with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), University for Development Studies (UDS), IIC University of Technology, Cambodia, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology (JUST), China.
DLIBT is accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC). DLIBT is a member of the Association of African Universities (AAU) and the World Technology Universities Network (WTUN).
DLIBT offers Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor and Postgraduate programmes and additionally serves as an accredited Centre for a number of professional programmes.
