Ensign Global College, in collaboration with the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah, is offering a second executive education course for senior leaders in healthcare administration from January 28-29, 2022 at the Ensign Campus in Kpong.
This course focuses on quality management and introduces the principles of Quality Management with a focus on meeting the needs of customers/patients at all levels.
Topics include process thinking, understanding variation, service quality and experiential services, process improvement tools, and process monitoring. Emphasis will be on examples from services and healthcare.
The course is designed for senior leaders and executives. Tuition for the course is Gh¢2360, which includes the two-day course, two nights’ accommodations at the Ensign Global Campus, welcome dinner and reception, and all meals.
At the conclusion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion endorsed by the collaborating top international schools.
The course will be taught by Professor Don Wardell from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. He is Francis A. Madsen Scholar and Professor of Operations and Information Systems (OIS) at the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business.
He has taught in both the Masters of Healthcare Administration and Executive MBA program. Wardell has received multiple awards for his teaching. His educational background includes BS and MS degrees in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Utah, and a PhD from Purdue University’s Krannert Graduate School of Management.
Ensign Global recently partnered with both the University of Utah and University of Oxford to host its first executive education course in November, Leading in Healthcare: Navigating in Turbulent Times. The course received high marks from attendees such as:
