Highlife musician, Kofi Kinaata has revealed how his mother influenced his career.
According to the award-winning songwriter, his mother wanted him to be a musician or a footballer when he was growing up.
“I am very happy because my mom told me at the age of six or seven, she told me she wanted to sing or play football because I was a very good footballer and I’m singing now," Kinaata explained.
Speaking with Joy Entertainment’s Becky, Kinaata say his mother is fulfilled with the career he has chosen.
"I know she is fulfilled. She is happy and I am happy too,” he said on E-Vibes.
“My mother sings a lot In the house, she has a lot of melodies that she plays around. She makes me feel that the thing is in the family and if I am doing it, I am not stealing it or I am not going wayward, so I should just focus and do it,” he said.
