Ashanti Regional Minister, Samuel Sarpong has released Infinix smartphones to the Communications Offices of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The smart phones will be distributed among 47 constituencies in the Ashanti Region.
This is in fulfillment of a promise to equip communication officers in order to rake in a million votes for the party in the region during the General Elections in 2016.
Dr. Sarpong said the donation is a personal gift to the communication officers to enhance communication between them and other party members.
Regional Communications Officer Samed Akalilu who received the donations on behalf of the officers said he was excited about the fact that the Minister was able to fulfill his promise.
He assured that the devices will be put to good use for the development of the party and appealed for more of the devices to be provided to assist communicators in the party.
