Actress Roselyn Ngissah has been seen with a new look on Instagram. She has shaved off all her hair.
The bald look, according to her post, is for a role in a yet to be released film. The movie, she revealed is titled "The Big Six."
In the picture captured for Instagram, Roselyn wore a black straight dress with her hands on her head.
“I love my character. THE BIG SIX…Loading …From Famous multimedia,” she wrote.
The picture intrigued some fans and followers while others doubted the realness of the new look.
But she silenced the doubting Thomases by posting another photo showing her side view.
Roselyn Ngissah then posted another video of herself while promoting the 2022 iYes conference.
The actress is one of many talents that have chosen to shave off their hair as required by the movie role they landed.
In 2013, Nana Ama McBrown went viral for going bald. She played a role of a widow in a movie titled “Atemmuo” to wit "Judgment" where her character had to shave her hair as part of the rituals.
'I wanted to make the movie look real so I shaved all my hair. It was my first time going completely bald in a movie,' she had said.
Others include; Mercy Johnson, who in 2011, played the most challenging role of a widow in the movie; “Heart of a Widow’, and Chika Ike for her role in “Moments of Tears”.
In 2015, Annie Idibia shaved her head when she joined the campaign to increase breast cancer awareness.
