The main index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) was up on Monday on the back of gains by the financial stocks to open the week on positive note.
The GSE All-Share index gained 124 points at 5,423.03 points from 5,299.03 points.
Change for the year to date is -48.01 per cent.
Traded volumes closed the session at 376,400 shares.
Market capitalisation ended Monday’s trading at GH¢15,278.79 million.
On the broader market, there were four price changes, three positive and a negative.
State Insurance Company (SIC) was up GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.27, Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) gained GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.53 and Ecobank Transnational Inc. went up by GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.16.
The only loser for the session was CAL Bank, which went down by GH¢0.01 to close at GH¢0.20.
