The Ghanaian striker bundled the ball over the line to give the Eagles a comfortable 2-0 lead at half time. But a spirited second half performance saw the Toffees turn it around to win 3-2.
Prior to the game, Jordan Ayew had scored in 14 different games for Crystal Palace. 11 of those games ended in victories whilst the other 3 finished in stalemates.
Jordan Ayew signed a three-year deal with Crystal Palace in July 2019 after spending the season before on loan the Selhurst Park.
The 30-year-old striker's contract expires this summer with numerous reports suggesting interest from Turkey.
