Organizers of the biggest Pan African Summer festival in the DMV area, DMV Party in the Park, Starbuzz Media LLC, have revealed that all preparations have been concluded to give patrons their best summer experience this weekend.
The event which is being funded and spearheaded by Media Mogul and investor, who also doubles as the CEO of Starbuzz Media LLC, Mr. Charles Adu Koranteng, popularly known as ‘MC Coaches’ boasts of one of the largest and top artistes line-ups of any event this summer with a mix of Ghanaian, Nigerian, Namibian, South African entertainers, all billed to thrill patrons.
When asked what inspired him, MC Coaches revealed that he has always been an entertainment person and he is moved by the joy he brings to the faces of fun lovers whenever they attend his events.
Speaking on the DMV Party in the Party in Park, MC Coaches said; “I wanted to bring an authentic Pan African entertainment experience to the diaspora community here in the USA. I realized its time to give the entire family an event to look forward to and the DMV Party in the Park will provide a cocktail of picnic, music concert and cultural festival all under one roof. I promise patrons the best experience this summer".
“We have a packed day of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Food Trucks, African Cuisine, Fashion Show, Sampling and Activations, Comedies and a lot of Special Giveaways to give our audience an unforgettable experience” Coaches added.
He also noted that his vision for the event is to put Ghana on the map as a leader in Pan African entertainment. The reason for including performers from across the continent. He added that the event is planned to be an annual event that will be moving around major cities in the DMV area in the future.
The DMV Party in the Park is already the most talked-about Musical concert this summer and has already attracted the Ghanaian and African diaspora communities from all 50 States in the USA.
Artistes billed to perform include Ghana’s dancehall sensation and multiple award-winning artiste, Samini, Nigerian superstar and Iskaba hitmaker, Wande Coal, Ghana’s enjoyment minister and multiple-award winning entertainer D-Black, Chart-topping crooner Afrobeats Badman & ‘Down Flat’ hitmaker ‘Kelvyn Boy’, the sensational ‘E Choke’ Hitmaker Sefa and La meme Gang front line and J’Mapelle Hitmaker Darko Vibes.
Ghana’s sensational YouTuber, online activist, comedian Ebaby Kobby and Nigerian Afrobeats event promoter Legendary Mike and a host of DJs and Mc’s are billed as hosts for this maiden event as well.
Also billed on the turn table decks are a multinational mix of DJ’s including Dj K Crakk (GH) - Ghana, DJ Slim (GH) - Ghana, DJ Akua (MD) - Ghana, DJ Blast (MD) - Cameroon, DJ Sam I Am (MD) - Sierra Leone, DJ Rozay (MD) - Ghana, DJ Fat Mike (MD) - Nigeria and DJ Tea bee (MD) - Ghana.
The DMV Party in the Park is a Starbuzz Media LLC event that is organised in partnership with the Office of the Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Ghana, Beyond the Return Secretariat with support from the Ghana Tourism Authority.
The event which is the first of its kind and will be happening on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at the Frederick Fairgrounds, Fredrick Maryland.
