A pregnant 17-year-old candidate in the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (B.E.C.E) has delivered a bouncy baby girl.
The pupil, reportedly went into labour, on Tuesday October 18, while writing the exam at Kechibi M/A R/C centre. She was rushed to the clinic in the Nkwanta South Municipality of the Oti Region.
After hours of labour, she was referred to Nkwanta Municipal Hospital where she delivered a baby girl at about 10:00pm on Tuesday.

When Adom News visited the centre, on Wednesday, October 19, reporters learned the nursing mother had returned to the centre to continue her exams.
The candidate, speaking with Adom News' Obrempongba K. Owusu, said she is fit, adding that she will be able to write the remaining exam papers.
The new mother explained that she wants to pass and pursue her senior high school education.
Meanwhile, the baby is being kept at the Nkwanta South facility.
The nurses said they are monitoring the baby to ensure she is healthy and fit.
