A man believed to be in his late 30s has been lynched by unknown persons at Kasoa Free Town in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
Preliminary investigations by police indicate that, the deceased was beaten to his death.
In an interview with Adom News’ Kofi Adjei, the Awutu Senya East Municipal Nadmo Director, Kwame Amoah said, he cannot confirm whether the deceased was a thief or he was victim of a robbery attack.
Mr Amoah said the body has been conveyed by Kasoa District Police Command to Police Hospital for preservation.
Meanwhile, the police says investigations are ongoing.
