A 43-year-old Publisher has been coronated by Otumfour Osei Tutu II as chief of Abrenyase in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality of the Ashanti Region under the stool name Oheneba Yaw Owusu Ansah.
He successfully swore the oath of allegiance to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, during a traditional occasion at the Mahyia palace in Kumasi.
The swearing-in ceremony which was witnessed by hundreds of people including some chiefs, friends and loved ones was engulfed by wild jubilation.

Oheneba Yaw Owusu Ansah replaced Oheneba Kwabena Achempongtua II who was destooled after four years for engaging in activities that were seen as a breach of the traditional oath.
The Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II advised the new chief to be humble and that he should show respect to his elders and family members.
He also cautioned him against indulging in acts that may bring the name of the stool into disrepute.

The Ashanti King said the new chief will go through the same fate suffered by his predecessor if he does anything untoward.
Oheneba Yaw Owusu Ansah took the opportunity and thanked the Asantehene for his enormous contribution to the traditional rulership in the Ashanti Region.

He pledged to work together with his elders and community folks towards developing the area.
He said education is very critical to the development of every community, therefore he will strive hard by ensuring that all schools in the area are given a face-lift to encourage effective teaching and learning.

The new chief rallied the elders in the community and other sub-chiefs to support him towards bringing lasting peace to his family and for that matter the entire community.
He noted that dispute has been a major challenge hindering decision-making in the area, therefore, there's a need to immediately resolve the difference in order to develop the area.
