Ghana international, Antoine Semenyo, says he can't wait to start his career with Bournemouth after signing for the Premier League side.
The 23-year-old joined Bournemouth from Bristol City and was officially announced as the club's latest signing on Friday, January 27.
Both Bristol and Bournemouth agreed on a transfer fee on Thursday with the player undergoing his medical later in the before having his media on Friday.
Speaking in his first interview after completing the deal, Semenyo revealed his excitement to join the Cherries.
"It's unbelievable, to be honest. I had been waiting a while for this to be done and I am happy it is done. I can't wait to get started," he told the club's media.
"[The Bournemouth] interest was from last summer but injury occurred and I downplayed a bit but I continued and came back from injury, started playing well and the interest came back so I can't complain."
Semenyo is expected to don the number 24 shirt for Bournemouth and is likely to be in action for the club in their next game on February 4 against Brighton & Hove Albion.
