Huge-duty vehicle trading company, Zonda Technology Ghana Limited, is expanding opportunities for employment in the Ashanti Region with the opening of a new branch at Sabin Akrofrom.
The move is expected to make the company’s services available to key market players in the Obuasi municipality and its environs.
The newly-commissioned Zonda Sabin Akrofrom facility comprises a service center and a trucks-assembling unit.
Zonda Technology aims at expanding its reach to customers across the Ashanti Region to repair and assemble trucks.
Speaking at the inauguration of the new facility, the Chief Executive Officer, Madam Yang Yang, said the company aims to create job opportunities for Ghanaians aside from satisfying the needs of customers.
Branch Manager, Enoch Osei Tutu says the company will contribute positively to the automobile industry and also aid the community as part of their Corperate Social Responsibility.
“We are willing to help the community with all they need. As part of plans to grow the automobile industry in the coming years, we plan on growing the various communities we find ourselves” he said.
Mr. Francis Owusu Ansah who represented the Ashanti Regional Minister said the government is willing to push the private sector in promoting national development.
He commended Zonda-Tech for their services in the Ashanti Region.
“It is the aim and objective of government to help the private sector grow. Government is forever willing to push the private sector to achieve its aims and also help in national development” he added.
Representative of the Sabin Akrofromhene, Nana Osei Kofi called on workers to exhibit professionalism in their line of duty.
“I plead with workers here, to ensure professionalism in their line of duty. Work ethically and unprovoked” he said.
