The Presiding Bishop of Lighthouse Chapel International, Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills has urged all and sundry to open their hearts to Jesus.
Preaching in Antananarivo, Madagascar, on Day 5 of his Healing Jesus Campaign, he noted that when one opens their heart to Jesus the first thing he will bring into their life is his blood.
According to him, Jesus’ blood is the most potent blood, capable of cleansing sins and bringing healing to the unwell.
“The first thing that he [Jesus] is going to bring is his blood his blood that will save you because there is nothing that can wash away your sins. The bible says without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. …that is how your sins are, nothing can wash it away,” he said.
He stressed that while humans are prone to sin, the power of the blood of Jesus has the power to forgive all sins and cleanse them.
“Think of all the bad things you have done. You’ve still done it. You can’t change that you did it. It is there. It is there; your lies, your stealing, your killing, your abortions, every bad thing you’ve done is still there.
“What can wash away the sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. That is why Jesus died at the age of 33 on the cross because he was shedding his blood so that your sins will be washed away. This blood of Jesus is different from any other blood,” he said.
