Sonotech Medical and Diagnostic Centre has been adjudged the best CT Scan Centre of the Year at the second edition of the Medical Diagnostic Excellence Awards.
The award ceremony was held at the African Regent Hotel in Accra.
Sonotech earned the award through their outstanding service in the medical investigations space, especially in the area of CT scanning and reporting.
The event witnessed the get-together of the stakeholders in the diagnostic space in the country.
The annual occasion which was organised by Africmedia Galaxy, also exhibited the other side of these health institutions and personnel who showcased glamour and style through their exquisite looks and dance moves as they danced to melodious tunes to shake of the pressures of their hectic work schedules that produced the quality investigations critical to the medical care in the country.

This recognition puts the spotlight on the work of the organization already considered by many as the fastest growing, most consistent, reliable, and one of the best in private health care provision in the country offering 24-hour services cross 3 branches all year round.
Outbreak of the covid-19 pandemic and pressure that it brought on testing centers witnessed the shift in the use of CT scans to speed up the diagnostic and progress in the management of patients.

Sonotech’s 24hrs service provision was really a live saving gesture which helped to save the lives of many patients as a major diagnostic referral center in Accra servicing other health facilities across the country especially in the greater Accra, Eastern, Volta and central regions include the West African sub region.
The Medical Director Dr. Grace Buckman who received that award on behalf of the organisation attributed the achievement to the hard work and dedication of their staff and management especially the radiographers and experienced Specialist Radiologist.

She also extended appreciation to the prescribers who referred patients to Sonotech as well as all their loyal patients and clients for their trust in their services and regular feedback which has helped to make them the number one in the country.
She pledged their resolve to work even harder as they considered this recognition a vote of confidence by the public and observers of the work in the industry.
In addition, Sonotech Medical and Diagnostic Center has the years been noted for excellence in Ultrasound scans, X-ray scans, laboratory services over the past decade especially covid -19 testing which was a major contributor in the countries crucial fight and success against the covid-19 pandemic.
