Ghana forward Jordan Ayew says the important target for the Black Stars is to secure qualification for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Black Stars will play the Central African Republic (CAR) in the last group game of the qualifiers on Thursday, September 7.
Jordan was named in Ghana's 25-am squad for the fixture which was revealed on Saturday, September 2.
Ghana currently leads the way in Group E after taking nine points from a possible 15 while CAR sits third with seven points, two behind Ghana and one behind Angola, who are second.
Ahead of the game, Jordan says the target of the team is to secure qualification to be staged in Ivory Coast next year.
"The most important thing is that we should qualify and after we see, the most important thing is [the] qualification," he told Radio Gold Sports.
"We are not yet qualified, the most important thing is for us to qualify and when the time comes, we see."
The Black Stars need to avoid defeat against CAR to book a place at the continental showpiece.
