Ghana international Antoine Semenyo was back among the goals as Bournemouth picked up their first win of the 2023/24 Premier League season.
The Ghanaian was handed his first league start since September and did well to utilise the opportunity as the Cherries picked up a 2-1 win at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.
Burnley took the league against Bournemouth in the opening 11 minutes of the game through Charlie Taylor but Semenyo drew his side levelled with a fine finish from the penalty box on the 22nd minute mark.
The game headed into the break with nothing to separate both teams.
However, Philip Billing pulled off a stunner from his drawer beating the goalkeeper from a long way out to put the Cherries in front and hand them all three points, their first victory of the campaign.
Semenyo was taken off in the 69th minute of the game, seven minutes before the match-winner.
The Ghanaian now has two league goals to his name in four starts.
