Dr Joseph Gerald Tetteh Nyanyofio, a Policy and Management Lecturer and the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for La Dadekotopon Constituency, has been inducted into the prestigious Institute of Directors-Ghana (IoD-Gh) as a Member, after going through a thorough assessment process, based on exposure and pedigree.
The Institute of Directors Ghana is a leading professional organization committed to the practice of world-class Corporate Directorship and aims to champion Director professionalism and development through Good Corporate Governance for the benefit of organizations, stakeholders and the prosperity of Ghana.
In the nearly three decades of incorporation, the IoD-Gh has been committed to recognizing and unlocking the potential of its members through the provision of world-class learning opportunities and knowledge sharing.
This significant feat offers the young policy expert a wide range of opportunities, including building his capacity, competence and potential for effective professional networking, and getting world-class training opportunities, as well as becoming an ambassador of Good Corporate Governance, among others.
Dr Nyanyofio is a Lecturer in Public Administration and policy Management, Strategic Management, and Governance in the Faculty of Management Studies at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
He has held several administrative and leadership positions, including serving as Secretary and Organising Secretary to the University of Professional Studies, Accra branch of the University Teachers’ Association of Ghana, an Academic Board member of UPSA, a Coordinator for Management Programmes as well as an Academic Mentor to a host of students at both the Graduate and Undergraduate levels
His research interest spans governance, policy analysis, and development issues. He was part of the brain behind the establishment of UPSA’s annual International Conference on Business and Development. He has vast experience in education leadership and governance and has published extensively in high-impact journals.
