Mohammed Aryeetey has won gold at the African Games after defeating Tulembekwa Zola Livens at the Boxing Arena at the Trust Sports Emporium, Bukom.
Aryeetey, a former national Flyweight champion, won via a unanimous decision.
Aryeetey qualified for the final after winning his semi-final contest with Morocco's Hamza Essaidi via another unanimous (5-0) decision.
Meanwhile, another Ghanaian, Joseph Commey, has won the country's second gold medal at the African Games.
He defeated Zambia's Andrew Chilata via a unanimous decision in the men's 60kg contest.
Later tonight, Amadu Mohammed, Samuel Takyi and Abubakar Kamoko will so take their turn in their respective finals.
