Ghana goalkeeper, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, has signed a two-year contract extension with Swiss Super League side, St. Gallen.
The 27-year-old’s previous contract with the Espens was set to expire in the summer of 2025.
“We are extremely pleased to be able to tie Lawrence to FCSG long-term,” the club said in a statement.
“He is a key performer and convinces not only on the pitch but also outside it through his professionalism, composure, and charisma.
“During our discussions, it became clear that there is a desire for extension on both sides. We are excited about Lawrence's commitment.”
The Black Stars goalkeeper is now in his fifth season at St. Gallen since joining from Sochaux at the start of the 2019/20 season.
This season, he has featured in 32 league games, kept five clean sheets and conceded 44 goals.
In his five seasons at St. Gallen, Lawrence Ati-Zigi played 159 games in all competitions, conceded 237 goals and kept 32 clean sheets.
