Ghanaian academy side, Young African Promises will be on a plane to Ecuador this summer to feature in the 2024 Copa Mitad Del Mundo.
The tournament is an annual invitational competition that involves South American clubs with the Ghanaian side set to compete for the first time.
Academies from Brazil, Ecuador, Chile, Peru and Uruguay are invited to the tournament which is limited to U-18 players.
This year's tournament is scheduled to take place between June 4 and 14.

Young African Promises will be hoping to hoist the flag of Ghana at the competition which will also be an opportunity for young Ghanaian footballers to be scouted by agents as well as club administrators.
In total, seven countries will be involved in this year's edition including Brazil, Ghana, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay, Peru and Chile with over 320 players expected to be involved.
16 academies have also been given invitation to this year's tournament.
