On Menstrual Hygiene Day, the Loveaid Foundation, in collaboration with the National Youth Authority, Eco-Flo Initiative, McGharbins Network, Youth Action Movement, Smart Hub, Ho-CSO's Platform, and Youth Alliance for Sustainability, organised an inspiring 'Girl Power Program' at the Ho Bankoe RC Girls School Complex.
This event, designed to educate young girls on personal and menstrual hygiene, aimed to promote self-awareness and confidence among attendees.

The programme, held under the theme 'Together for a Period-Friendly World' and the motto 'My Strength, My Value, My Time, It's My Movement,' sought to create a supportive environment where girls could learn, share, and grow together.
By focusing on the importance of menstrual hygiene and self-care, the initiative aimed to dismantle stigmas and foster a culture of inclusivity and empowerment among young women.

Madame Florence Mawusinu Ameyibor, the Headmistress of the Ho Bankoe RC Girls' School, expressed her gratitude to the organising groups.
She highlighted the critical need for support in enhancing the school's educational resources.
"We call on benevolent organisations and individuals to help us provide computers for our computer lab and build a library, as the school currently has none," she stated.

The Ho Bankoe RC Girls' School is the only basic girls' school in the Ho municipality, making these resources essential for its students' educational development.
The 'Girl Power Program' exemplified how collective efforts can lead to impactful change, emphasising the need for community support in creating a brighter, more sustainable future for all.
By educating and empowering young girls, the event not only addressed immediate needs but also laid the groundwork for a more inclusive society where every girls can thrive.
