Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has appealed for any woman who may have a child with his late son to come forward.
He expressed his desire to confirm if Mohbad had fathered any children during his lifetime.
In a viral video message, Joseph Aloba stated, “Any woman on earth that has a child for Mohbad should please come out now. It will be a great joy for me to finally know that my son Mohbad left a child behind and to see my grandchild. All we need to do is to conduct a DNA test.”
This call comes amid an ongoing controversy involving Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, whom Joseph Aloba has been urging to undergo a DNA test to ascertain the paternity of her son, Liam, purportedly fathered by Mohbad.
The refusal of Wunmi to consent to the DNA test has reportedly strained the relationship between the two families.
