Award-winning emcee and broadcaster Nathaniel Attoh delivered a spectacular performance this weekend, introducing 'Cello', a robot, as his co-emcee at the 2025 Millennium Excellence Awards launch in Accra.
The duo's seamless collaboration delighted guests at the Labadi Beach Hotel for the event's 25th-anniversary edition.
"We're in an AI era, so this twist made the launch unique," Attoh commented.
Cello, the AI co-emcee, introduced three program items, impressing attendees. Anis Hafar, introduced by Cello, noted it was his first time being introduced by a robot.
"The Millennium Excellence Awards, held every five years, always offer something new. It was a fine blend, and I enjoyed my time on stage," Attoh shared after the event.
Nathaniel Attoh's exploits as one of Ghana's topmost emcees have always been characterised by periodic innovations that add spice to his craft.

Two years ago at the launch of DStv's Coverage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar Citizen Attoh, as he is known in showbiz circles emerged on ropes from the top of Ghana's Independence Monument (Black Star Square) which is almost 50 meters high.
He delivered his intro smoothly as he dropped with a calculated pace from the top of the ironic monument to the excitement of guests of the African pay-tv giants.
The Millennium Excellence Awards will take place on May 9 and 10, 2025, at the Otumfuo Osei Tutu Jubilee Hall, under the patronage of King Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The awards celebrate individuals who have made significant societal impacts.
Past recipients include Kwame Nkrumah, John Kuffour, John Mahama, Kofi Annan, Desmond Tutu, Togbe Afede XIV, Azumah Nelson, James Victor Gbeho, and Osei Kwame Despite.
The upcoming event will honour figures such as Aliko Dangote, Barack Obama, and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
