Hearts of Oak Head Coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, is not targeting a trophy next season but aims to avoid another relegation battle.
The Phobians survived last season’s Premier League on the final day with a 3-2 win over Bechem United.
The club’s last title was the FA Cup triumph in 2022 under head coach Samuel Boadu.
“We need to focus on stability and gradual improvement. I can't guarantee a trophy next season, but I am committed to building a team that can compete and stay clear of relegation,” Ouattara said at a press conference.
"My target is to ensure we don't battle relegation next season. The supporters always want us to win, and any big team is expected to compete for trophies. But for now, our main focus is to build a solid team and avoid the relegation zone."
Hearts recently lost a trophy after a 2-1 defeat to Asante Kotoko in the Democracy Cup.
Ouattara's side have another chance in the upcoming Gbese Mantse Homowo Peace Charity Cup match against Heart of Lions on August 11.
Next season's Ghana Premier League kicks off on September 6 with fixtures yet to be announced.
