The running mate of John Mahama in the 2024 Presidential election, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku- Agyemang has urged Ghanaians to cast their votes and elect a leader who is honest and truthful.
According to her, former President John Dramani Mahama has been tried and tested and he has demonstrated to be truthful urging party faithful to elect him back into power.
Speaking during the launch of the NDC campaign in Tamale on Saturday, July 27, she described Mr Mahama as "a kind of leader, who Ghanaians want."
“Ghana needs a truthful and respectful leader in the person of John Dramani Mahama.”
“We have tried him, he has reflected on what is going and he is coming up with new ideas. We are very happy that Mahama did not give up on this country and that he is ready to put himself up to rescue, stabilize, and redeem this country,” she said.
