Board Chair of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust, Elizabeth Ohene says Ghana’s socio-economic environment is better under the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to her, the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration's dedication to meeting the basic needs of the people is evident in their ability to ensure that every Ghanaian has access to shelter, food, education, and healthcare.
She said the government has been able to bridge the gap between the haves and the have-nots, thereby ensuring that everyone can afford the most important things in life.
“The NPP government has a strong and unwavering commitment to inclusivity, equity and justice. We have worked tirelessly during these two terms to accomplish these goals through targeted and good social interventions by enhancing existing programmes, restoring those that have been lost and introducing new initiatives.
"We are building a society where every citizen regardless of their circumstances can live with dignity and hope,” she said,
Madam Ohene made these comments during the NPP manifesto launch on August, 18.
She said the party could only achieve more if rewarded with another term in office.
In light of this, she called for support “to forge a path towards a more just and compassionate Ghana where the vulnerable are not just supported but empowered to thrive and lead dignified lives. Please remember, you are safe with the NPP.”
