The 2024/25 Malta Guinness Ghana Women's Premier League season has been launched ahead of its commencement this weekend.
The launching at the Conference Room of the Ghana Football Association saw the attendance of GFA executives, Malta Guinness Ghana executives, and representatives from some of the clubs.
The league season is set to restart following Hasaacas Ladies’ success on the domestic scene last season.
Speaking at the launch of the season, newly-elected Executive Council member of the GFA, and President of Berry Ladies, Gifty Oware-Mensah, expressed her excitement with the development of the women’s game over the years.

On the path of Malta Guinness, Marketing Manager, Dinah Asabea Darko, announced further cash prizes for individuals at the end of the season.
"In further support of excellence, this season we are proud to introduce special cash awards for the best player in both the Southern and Northern Zones, as well as the best coach of the season," she said.
This initiative is aimed at recognising and rewarding the hard work and commitment that players and coaches contribute to the growth of the league."
The best player in the Southern and Northern Zones will receive 10,000 cedis each while the best coach also takes home 10,000 cedis.
The new Malta Guinness Ghana Women's Premier League season will commence on Friday, October 18, 2024.
