The Chirano Sefwiman Foundation has commissioned two newly constructed kindergarten blocks for the communities of Paboase and Aboduabo in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality.
The project, valued at GHS 482,000, replaces old, dilapidated structures built decades ago, providing children with a modern and conducive learning environment.
The new facilities are expected to significantly enhance early childhood education by offering spacious, well-equipped classrooms designed to foster creativity and learning.
The improved environment will help teachers deliver better instruction, laying a strong foundation for children’s academic and personal development.

Speaking at the ceremony, the General Manager of Asante Gold Chirano Limited emphasized the importance of quality infrastructure in shaping young minds.
He urged the school authorities to maintain the facilities to ensure they serve future generations and called on parents to remain engaged in their children’s education.
The Chief of Sefwi Paboase, Nana Frimpong Manso Ababio II, expressed his appreciation for the new blocks, noting that the previous structures were no longer suitable for effective learning.
He highlighted the need for continuous collaboration between the community and Asante Gold to address further development needs.
The Municipal Chief Executive of Sefwi Wiawso, Louis Agyapong, commended the Chirano Sefwiman Foundation for prioritizing education, stressing that the new buildings will create opportunities for children to thrive from an early age.

He also urged parents and community members to actively support the school’s efforts to nurture the children.
The event also recognized the success of the Chirano Sefwiman Scholarship Scheme, with the first group of beneficiaries set to graduate this year.
This milestone reflects the Foundation's commitment to supporting youth development through education.
The commissioning of the KG blocks aligns with Asante Gold's broader goal of sustainable community development, addressing key needs in education and strengthening relationships with its host communities.
