Hometown Records, a newly established record label in Kumasi has been unveiled.
Speaking at the unveiling and signing ceremony, Mr Fidel Idun Kuranchie, popularly known as DJ Kaxtro, outlined the record label’s vision.
According to him, the label aims to unearth, nurture and propel the numerous talents in the city to their highest potential.

However, the challenge has always been the lack of proper label services and structures to propel these talents to greater heights. Hometown Records is not only focused on music talents. Almost everyone on the label is someone I’ve known and worked with in different ways for over 10 years. They are family and their vision aligns with mine hence signing to the label.”
