Birago Sarpong Afrifa, a name synonymous with brilliance and determination, has achieved another extraordinary milestone as the Best Graduating Student in the MBCHB Medicine & Surgery programme at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
This well-deserved honour was conferred during the university’s 58th Congregation on November 25, 2024, as the College of Health Sciences proudly recognized her outstanding achievements.

Birago’s journey of excellence began during her days at Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ Senior High School, where she distinguished herself as a beacon of academic success.
In 2018, she was recognised as the Second Best Overall Student in Ghana and the Third Best Overall Student in West Africa in the WASSCE examinations.
These remarkable accomplishments marked the beginning of a journey defined by hard work, resilience, and an unrelenting pursuit of excellence.

Her latest feat as the overall best in the MBCHB Medicine & Surgery programme is a testament to her unwavering dedication and brilliance.
