Chos Media, the management of DJ Chos, the disc jockey at the centre of Fameye's outburst during his London show, has responded to claims made by the musician regarding the incident.
A statement released on behalf of the DJ indicates that they regret the disappointment surrounding the event which suffered some challenges at the Dominion Centre, Wood Green in London.
"Fameye had only two brief rehearsals with DJ Chos. The first session lasted 12 minutes in DJ Chos' car after Fameye declined a studio session, citing fatigue. The second session, which took place at the venue, lasted 15 minutes. During this time, specific songs were agreed upon for the performance.
During the event, DJ Chos received contradictory instructions from Fameye and a member of his team. A representative repeatedly requested that DJ Chos played Kwaku Ananse for a freestyle, claiming this was a directive from Fameye. Reluctantly, DJ Chos complied under pressure, despite the request being outside the agreed playlist. Subsequently, the same individual instructed DJ Chos to abandon the original playlist and play Very Soon at the last minute, which DJ Chos did. This decision revived the energy in the venue, and Fameye expressed satisfaction with the result. It is worth noting that Nothing I Get (Original), a song Fameye wanted to perform, was not part of the agreed playlist and had not been rehearsed," the management explains.
DJ Chos's management further highlights that Kelvyn Boy and Kweku Flick performed seamlessly on the same night with DJ Chos as their DJ.
"Both artistes attended rehearsals and provided dear instructions, resulting in flawless performances.DJ Chos has also been the DJ for King Paluta's biggest UK show, which was executed flawlessly," he statements further indicates.
According to them, beyond artiste performances, DJ Chos has a stellar reputation across the UK with over 25 years of experience, having played at major events, including weddings, corporate programs, and high-profile occasions. His professionalism, consistency, and expertise have earned him recognition as one of the most reliable DJs in the industry.

A viral video that captures Fameye lambasting a DJ for not playing the right songs while he was performing, has generated conversations in the media circles. In the video, Fameye is heard lambasting the DJ for not doing his work well.
In the wake of discussions on various media fronts regarding the propriety or otherwise of Fameye's actions, his management issued a statement on the incident, describing what happened as "unprofessional."
"While we understand that technical issues and miscommunications can arise in live performances, the level of unprofessionalism displayed was disappointing and disrespectful to both Fameye and his loyal fans. This incident disrupted the flow of what should have been a memorable experience for everyone in attendance," his management wrote.
They indicated that they made numerous attempts to bring either Fameye's official DJ from Ghana or Belgium to ensure a memorable performance for his fans. Unfortunately, they could not reach an agreement with the organisers, as they insisted on using a DJ they had already book for his session.
"This approach does not align with the standard practices of the Fameye brand. However, out of respect for the fans, we chose to work with the arrangements provided. Sadly this decision has come at a great cost, as it impacted Fameye's ability to deliver the outstanding performance we had promised his fans," they further noted.
Fameye's team, therefore, urged event organisers and their teams to uphold the highest standards of professionalism to ensure that every artiste and fan is treated with respect and dignity.
