Ghanaian music stars Stonebwoy, Fameye, DopeNation and Akwaaboah have been unveiled as headline acts for the upcoming ‘Ghana for Gold’ concerts, a two-city musical event designed to celebrate Ghanaian culture and mobilise support for Team Ghana ahead of the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The concerts, organised by ASA Plus in partnership with Alordia Promotions, will be staged in London on Friday, July 17, 2026, before heading to Edinburgh, Scotland, on Saturday, August 1, 2026.

The London edition will take place at the Dominion Centre, Gaumont Palace, 9 The Broadway, High Road, London (N22 6DS), while the Scottish concert will be hosted at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh.

According to the organisers, the events are intended to unite Ghanaians in the diaspora, music enthusiasts and supporters of Team Ghana in a celebration of the country's rich cultural heritage and sporting aspirations.

Held under the theme, “Come and celebrate our heritage. Support our athletes. Share the pride. One nation. One spirit. One celebration,” the concerts aim to inspire national pride while showcasing Ghana's vibrant music industry on the international stage.

The lineup features some of Ghana's most celebrated performers, including dancehall star Stonebwoy, highlife and Afro-fusion singer Fameye, award-winning music duo DopeNation, and renowned highlife musician Akwaaboah.

Fans can expect live performances of some of the artistes' biggest hits as they entertain audiences while promoting Ghanaian culture and solidarity among the Ghanaian community in the United Kingdom.

The London concert is scheduled to run from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. on July 17, with Standard tickets priced at £40 and VIP tickets at £60, available via Eventbrite.

For the Edinburgh edition, organisers have announced that both Standard and VIP tickets will cost £60, according to promotional materials.

Organisers say the ‘Ghana for Gold’ initiative forms part of wider efforts to rally support for Team Ghana as the country prepares to compete at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Beyond the entertainment, the concerts are expected to strengthen Ghana's cultural visibility abroad while fostering stronger connections between the Ghanaian diaspora and the nation's sporting ambitions.
