Ghana's Black Galaxies have departed for Uyo for the second leg of their 2024 African Nations Championships (CHAN) qualifier against Nigeria.
The team left Accra in the early hours of Friday, December 27, ahead of the game which is scheduled for Saturday.
Mas-Ud Didi Dramani's side are expected to hold a mandatory training session later in the day as part of their final preparations for the crucial encounter.
The Black Galaxies face the daunting task of advancing past their Nigerian counterparts for the second time in a row after doing the same on the road in their qualifier for the last edition.
Ghana's first-leg encounter on Sunday, December 22, ended in a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The return fixture is scheduled to take place in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State.
The winner of the two-legged tie will be entered in the rescheduled 2024 CHAN tournament, which will be held in February 2025 in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
