Societe Generale Ghana has officially launched the Deposit Mobilization Campaign, known as the “Deposit and Drive Promo,” aimed at rewarding customers while promoting a culture of saving.
Speaking in an interview with Joy Business, the Managing Director of SG Ghana, Hakim Ouzzani, emphasized the importance of empowering customers through such initiatives for economic growth.
"Societe Generale Ghana, our commitment has always been to serve you better, provide innovative financial solutions, and create wealth-building opportunities for our customers. This initiative goes beyond just deposits—it is about fostering a culture of savings and financial security among our customers. In an ever-changing economic landscape, saving is key to personal and business success. Through this promotion, we are encouraging individuals, families, and businesses to embrace the habit of saving while enjoying attractive incentives that make their financial journey even more rewarding,” he said.

The General Manager of Retail at SG Ghana, Obed Hoyah, highlighted the mode of entry for the draw.
“All you need to do is increase your deposits, maintain a higher balance, and stand a chance of winning the ultimate prize—a sleek Toyota RAV4. There are also other prizes. Whether you are an existing SG customer or a new account holder, you can keep saving GHS 500 at a time to reach the minimum threshold of GHS 3,000 in your account, which qualifies you for the draw.”
Major partners of the Deposit and Drive Promo, Toyota Ghana and the National Lottery Authority, commended SG Ghana for the initiative.
The campaign encourages customers to deposit GHS 500 and multiples thereof into their SG accounts for a chance to win incredible prizes, including a brand-new Toyota RAV4 and trips to Singapore and Dubai. Running from February to May 2025, the campaign will feature two mini draws, culminating in a grand draw in September 2025.
